For some reason, this phrase just popped up into my mind while I was pondering about the somethings. 不在乎天长地久，只在乎曾经拥? Will you be contented with 曾经拥有 if you cannot have 天长地久?

为何不可能觉得知足?
sometimes it's to have had than to keep wondering how it would have had been like to own it / have it / be with it.
only when we have it, own it and then lose it, then we realize how much it meant :)
and be thankful to have had experienced it...
part of life, to always wonder if we could always make everything important to us stay as it is, forever.
What I wonder is after you had that thing and lost it, would you rather prefer to not have it at all in the first place then? Why give you the thing just to take it away from you after that?
In that case, is it better to not have it at all in the first place? Will you be happier then not knowing what you had lost?
