Cookie Day~!

I went to my brother's house to bake with my sister-in-law yesterday. Yesterday was a cookie day~! :D

The original plan was for my classmates to come over my house to bake. My sister-in-law heard us mentioning about baking with my classmates, so she offered to "open house" for my classmates to go over to her house instead. This was a great idea because the kitchen there is much more spacious than the one in my house.

Somehow or other, my classmates couldn't make it in the end so that left only my sister-in-law and me to bake. We decided to bake something simple. Cookies~! Some of them turned out quite nice but some was not so nice. Never mind... We shall try harder next time. :D

Hee... My classmates and I are thinking of having a baking session at my place. :D What left now is to think of what to bake. Hee... I will try to post whatever we baked here. Looking forward to my baking session!

Snowball Cookies

My sister recently bought an oven for our house after many many months of all talk and no action. The oven had been with us for quite sometime but we were quite busy for the past few weeks so we only had the chance to conduct the "opening ceremony" for it today.

I think the last time that I baked was probably when I was in Seconday 2 during my Home Economics lesson. After looking around the websites and all, we decided to try making Snowball Cookies for our first attempt after seeing how yummy it looks in here.

The cookies were rather easy to make but we did not succeed in the last part whereby we were supposed to roll the baked cookies in icing sugar. In the end, we decided to just powder the icing sugar on top of the cookies. :P The cookies taste quite yummy...
