It took me a really long time before I finally decide to get a Pandora. I liked the idea of being able to customised the bracelet with charms that I like. However, I think it is rather silly to spend so much on a bracelet that is made of silver. Hubs decided to get me one for my birthday because he knew I liked it but just couldn't justify to myself to spend so much on a silver bracelet.
It took much convincing and we decided to bite the bullet. We popped by one of the stores in the neighbourhood area and start the "selection process". I have to admit I should have at least done more homework before I decide to spend that kind of money. My thought was quite simple actually. I browsed through Pandora's website a few days ago and a Murano Glass charm caught my eye. I didn't want hubs to spend too much money too so I was like "Ok! Get the bracelet plus that charm. That should settle it until I see other charms that I like enough to add on to my collection. At least it shouldn't cost hubs too much money."
The SA serving us was nice and helpful at first. She recommended me the type of bracelet to get. Then comes the catch. In order for the charm to not run all around the bracelet, I will need to buy 2 clips to sort of fix the charms in one section. That was a surprise to me and I totally did not factor it into what I had planned to get. The first thought that came to my mind was "Pandora is really damn smart in making money."
The SA recommended a few charms to add on to the Murano Glass charm that I liked to make the bracelet nicer and perhaps more "wearable". I hesistated about getting the ones she recommended because they are not quite to my taste and abit "overcrowded". I like my bracelet simple. Plus I was not very willing to spend that kind of money yet.
It took me a while to consider and browse through a few designs. The SA got impatient and started showing me her attitude. She started keeping all the clips and charms that I had asked to see and not even leaving them around for me to see and make comparisons. I was quite taken aback by her attitude. She was not rude but I could sense her displeasure. If I had been more thick skinned, I would have just walk out of the store and not purchase anything at all. Instead, I bought the bare minimum I could and left the store. I did wonder if I was over sensitive so I checked with hubs if that SA did show me attitude. Hubs said he did sensed it. He felt that maybe she thought I was taking too long. So it meant I was not being over sensitive.
Pandora which helps women celebrate their unforgettable moments had just left me with a really bad taste in my mouth. What an unforgettable moment indeed. It kind of spoil the whole thing for me. Even hubs mentioned that I didn't seem as happy like how I usually am when I get a new toy. So unfortunate...
