White Rabbit Sweet

Ok... I admit I'm a mountain tortoise who never see White Rabbit Sweet in Red Bean flavour. Now I this sua gu want to say that I found that there is White Rabbit Sweet in Chocolate and Strawberry flavour too! I tried them and made a conclusion... The original White Rabbit Sweet still tastes the best...

Melvados Cafe

My bf and I went over to Meldavos Cafe located in Bukit Timah Road for dinner today. I quite like the ambience there. I think most probably they did up the place for Valentines' Day or something and decided to keep the deco there for the time being because I remember the deco in the cafe was different the last time when I was there.

We had Curry Chicken Bread Bowl and Tangy Roast Chicken for our main, Rimber and Rimcolate for drinks and Sizzling Brownie Sensation for dessert. I don't find the food very fantastic and I think Rimber tastes like Rasberry Ripple ice-cream. :P The Rimcolate tastes... like some chocolate blend drink.

But... I like their Sizzling Brownie Sensation... I think it is more of how they present the food than the taste of the food... First they heat up the brownie and place in onto a hot plate. Next, they place a scoop of vanilla ice cream onto the hot plate only after they served the hot place to us. Finally, they squeeze the chocolate sauce from a squeeze bottle on top of the brownie, ice cream and onto the hot plate and you will start to hear the sizzling sound... No wonder they call it the Sizzling Brownie Sensation. I find the taste of the brownie quite ok but not very fascinating.

I may drop by there again another day but I will be there only for dessert and giving their dinner a miss...

Euro Fun Park

Do you still remember the Euro Fun Fair that creates a big hoo-haa when it is in Singapore a few years ago? It has the most exciting (but freaking expensive) rides that you can find in Singapore. I missed the fun fair that time cos I was still a student then and it's too expensive then even though I would love to try out those rides... So this time round when it appeared in Hougang, my bf and I went and tried out the rides. :)

Euro Fun Fair (Park) is perhaps the only fun fair that charges people $2 for entrance fees. It sort of reminds me of the times when I was still a kid, my dad will bring me to the fun fair nearby my house that charges $0.50 for entrance fee but I think the fun fair then was more fun. Maybe because I was still young then so everything was new and exciting to me.

Tickets to Euro Fun Fair

The rides there are still freaking expensive. It charges approximately $5 to $10 for each ride... Since we were there already so we decided to take a ride. After looking around, we decided to take Top Gun. Basically the ride is like Viking, just that it goes 360 degrees. I have not taken this kind of ride since like 2004 when I went to KL with Yiqun they all. I still think it's very shiok...

Top Gun

Too bad the roller coaster dun look fun or else I will surely try the roller coaster... :P I will try something else the next time. Looking forward to the Singapore Flyer when it is completed in early 2008 even though it is not those exciting rides that I like :P

5 Things You Didn't Know About Me

Hai... I'm here telling everyone the 5 things that they MAY not know about me cos I just got tagged by DK...

So...

1) I don't really like spicy food... They are just too Hot for me to take it... BUT... I love curry and I like to eat my KFC 2 pc crispy chicken with 5 packets of chilli sauce. Some things just don't taste right without chilli...

2) I have a very bad temper. Most people think I have a mild temper because most of the time I am quite 随便. But to tell the truth, it is just my heck care attitude that is facing you most of the time...

3) I get rashes from drinking alcohol... Itchy itchy... But I still drink as and when I like when I'm in the mood... But it's a great excuse for me to use when I'm not in the mood to drink...

4) I don't like beer, red or white wine but I like hard liquor...

5) I like kittens and puppies but not cats and dogs... I think animals are cute when they are young. But once they grow up then it's another matter...

Since I can't think of anyone specify to tag... so I have decided to tag anyone who views my blog. Remember to let me know when u finish ur list!

It's finally over~!

My event is finally over liao... Phew... Luckily all the things turn up quite well except for some nitty gritty things that we have no control over. Looks like everyone had great fun today. This is the first time I realised that people in my company can be so 'wild' when they are in party mood.

Other than having to call up a company on Monday to give them my 'feedback', I think everything else looks ok... Luckily this year's event will definitely not be organised by me... Phew... It's finally over~! \(^o^)/

Busy at work...

I am part of the organising committee for my company's 2006 Year End Event which will be held this friday. 2006 Year End Event in Frb 2007?! Weird rite? Bo bian leh... My MD is too busy travelling around but wished to join the event so we had to postpone the event again and again just to accomodate to his schedule. Since he's the one who pays or rather sort of... so we bo bian lor...

Our organising committee has been consientiously preparing for events but as everyone who organise this type of event before knows, there are always some last minute changes to the things that we had organised. Furthermore there are also some things that we left to the last minute so we are super busy as the day of the event draws nearer. Since the event is on Friday, thus we were rushing for things to be done on Thursday.

I was in a mad rush to get things done on Wednesday and Thursday. I had to help my manager to do some things as he will need them for his trip next week, complete my customer's requiest and it doesn't really help that I am attending a course for the whole of next week. This means I have to more or less tie up whatever things that are pending or hand over to my colleague to continue with what I was doing.

I was so busy that I stayed until quite late at work and had bagel for lunch at 3 plus today because I was leaving to prepare for the event on Friday then. By the time I ate, all the hunger pangs that I felt earlier on were gone.

Right now I am only praying that tomorrow will be here soon and that nothing will go wrong for the event. Let's hope everything will turn up well... Wish me luck... ;)
