We are training up the people in other countries so that we can get replaced by them. It's ok though. They can learn whatever stuff we are doing but they will never be able to take away my experience. My 8 years of hard work is not something that is just for show. They will never be able to take away what I had learnt.

Axed

My company axed 2 person yesterday, after giving them their pay increment letter on Friday. wtf. It is good that the retrenchment package is based on the new pay. I just don't understand why they choose to give people hope on Friday that you are not going to be axed since they give you a pay increment and then axed them the following day? so kns one lor.

I am sad to see someone whom I had been working with for the last almost 9 years leave us because of this axing. I am even more upset with the company. Did they realised that these very people whom they had just axed, are the ones wh helped you grow your business to this size for the last few years?
Yes, you set up a China office, make it to be the hq and make it bigger than what we have in Sg. However, what they have in China may not be the best. I had heard comments from other people who said that they missed having us do the stuff for them. I have kept quiet because I know there is no way things can go back to how it was.

The company is no longer worth staying. It is no longer the company that it used to be. I guess that explains alot why there are so many pioneers quitting the last few years. It is time to get out.
