Eye check up

For the past few days, I kept feeling that there's something in my right eye that's making it feel uncomfortable. This feeling started something on last wed iirc.

I went to see the doctor nearby my work place after lunch on friday because for some reason or other, my right eye became very red some time after lunch. I was also thinking of seeing a doctor if that uncomfortable feeling dun go away so I dun see any reason for me to delay seeing the doctor about my eye anymore.

The doctor briefly looked at my eye before telling me that she suspected that the uncomfortable feeling I had was most probably due to an eyelash getting into my eye. Somehow I doubt it's the eyelash that caused the trouble. After all the feeling came consistently from the same spot and I doubt the eyelash wun move after me rubbing my eyes so many times lor. She gave me an eye drop for application which after applying, I think is of total no use to me. :P

As the uncomfortable feeling persisted all the way until today, thus I decided to go see an eye specialist today after my work and badminton session with my colleagues. I travelled all the way down to Yishun from Redhill. I managed to reach the clinic only at 8+ which was quite lucky for me as the clinic closes at 9pm. :P

After diagnosing, the doctor said that my eye had an allergy thus causing all the problems. He told me that I had sensitive eyes so I had to try to wear sunglasses whenever I am out in the sun. I also had to clear away whatever stuffed toys I had on my bed. He also gave me a list of food that I should try to take less. My worst fears came true when I saw the list of food I should take less... Cheese, chocolates, ham... and the list goes on.... Almost all my favorite food (Cheese, chocolates) appeared on the list... How can I live my life without chocolates~! I can only comfort myself telling myself that he only said to consume less of them and not ban from consuming them... :'(

Ta da... Let's welcome my new wardrobe...

For years the wardrobe that my sis and I are sharing has been bursting from all the clothes that my sister and I had. I dun exactly remember when it started, but somehow the collection of clothes in my wardrobe started expanding. Maybe it's because my sis started work so she had to start buying clothes to wear to her office. Or maybe I have started have the habit of shopping for clothes every now and then. Whatever the reason is, my parents finally decided that it is finally time for us to stop torturing the poor wardrobe and get one more wardrobe so that we have more room for our clothes collection to expand.

As the room that my sis and I are sharing is too small to put in another wardrobe, my parents decided that one of us have to give up our bed and sleep on the mattress so that there will be enuff space for the new wardrobe to live in. I ended up being the one sacrificing my bed and have to 'prepare' a bed for sleep every nite. Actually I can choose to sleep in my brother's bed since he works nite shift but I think I will still prefer to sleep in my own room. :P

They tore down my bed on Fri nite as the wardrobe is coming in on Sat morning. The wardrobe arrived at my house at around 10 am. After discussing, we decided that I shall be the one using the new wardrobe. I happily transferred all the clothes I have in my old wardrobe to the new one which did not even take up half of the wardrobe. I am finally relieved from having to squeeze my clothes into the wardrobe... It is definitely no easy task to try squeezing clothes into a wardrobe that is bursting with clothes wor...

After transferring all the clothes in, I looked at the old wardrobe and told my sis, "Sis, I think I take out my clothes like never take out like that." The old wardrobe is still bursting with clothes even after I took out all my clothes. I always knew that at least 70% of the clothes in the wardrobe belongs to her but looks like I have underestimate her. I think 90% of the clothes in the wardrobe belongs to her instead. She could not believe that I had already taken out all my clothes from the old wardrobe. The wardrobe looks as full as before I took out my clothes. I din even realised that I actually only have so few clothes. :P Think I have more excuses to go shopping in the future. :P

As fr my sis, I think it's time for her to do another spring cleaning or else, cut down on her shopping or I doubt the wardrobe will be big enuff for her no matter how big it is... :P

Trip to JB

I made a trip to JB with Benny today as he wanted to make his contact lenses. We had heard how cheap it is to make glasses and contact lenses over there. Since he needed a new pair so we decided to go over there and see if it's really as cheap as what everyone says...

We met up with Yiqun and WenShi outside City Square since they are back to JB for the weekend. Anyway it will be good for them to be around since they will be able to bring us around. After all this was like only the 3rd trip I made to JB lor or rather more like the 2nd trip I made and the 1st time I went there I just followed my friend all the way lor... :P

Since it was already around 11+ when we reached JB, we decided to head off for lunch before the hunt for the contact lenses. :P Wenshi brought us to a place for bak gu teh. Very yummy...

After lunch we headed out to Pelangi where they are supposed to have quite cheap contact lenses. Somehow or other, we din find the prices of the contact lenses very cheap. So disappointing.... After shopping around for a while, we went to kopibean to rest our feets and chit chat for a while before heading down to City Square.

We continued hunting around for Benny's contact lenses while shopping at the same time. Yiqun left us earlier to go home. We had our dinner at the Marry Brown in City Square. I quite like the deco there... Quite nice...

I think the food there is like a mixture of KFC, A&W and Malay food. Why? Because Benny ordered their Nasi Lemak and Curly Fries

while I ordered their....

Kid's Meal~! :P I wasn't feeling particular hungry then but I wanted to try out their chicken to see which is nicer, KFC or Marry Brown. So I took the kid's meal since it comes with one piece chicken. :P

I find their chicken not much different from KFC but the nasi lemak rice is very nice~! Their curly fries reminded me of the curly fries from A&W that I missed so much... :'(

Benny finally settled on a brand of contact lenses and we left shortly after that as we did not want to be caught in a jam. I ended up buying 2 tops and a pair of shoes even though I din have any intention to go shopping. :P

The way back was quite bad as there were a lot of people everywhere. Luckily we were not caught in the jam and managed to return to Singapore quite fast. The only delay was probably only at the Customs as there were so many people around everywhere. I am definitely glad to be back home... :P
