Learning to drive...

I finally started on the driving lessons that I keep putting on hold... I took my first lesson yesterday and learn to use the clutch, U-turn and I even drove on the road from Jurong East back to Bukit Gombak. Heh...

But... I think I suck at driving lah... Honestly I don't think I drive very well. I am trying to convince myself that it's ok because I am still a little nervous about driving, after all the first time I am actually driving. Let's see how my driving will goes... Hopefully I will learn to manoeuvre the car confidently soon... :D

I can feel my legs aching now... Driving a car can be so tough... At least for me... :P

On Leave today! :D

I took a day off from work today as I still had 2 days of leave from last year to clear before the end of March. Since I had a bbq yesterday night, I decided to clear my leave today so that I can sleep late. :D

I woke up at 7 plus this morning, look at my hp and decided to go back to bed. After all it is not every weekday when I can sleep late. :D I finally drag myself out from my bed at 10am. Hee... I got out of my house at 11plus and went to pay my bills. I went downtown to Somerset to collect some vouchers that I won from a contest and went shopping in Centrepoint. It feels great to go shopping when you know that everyone else are working in the office. However, for some reason, the shopping centers will always have some people shopping no matter what time of the day it is. Maybe they are also clearing their leave just like me. :P I left Centerpoint without buying anything and took MRT down to CityHall.

I shopped around in Raffles City for a while before having my lunch there. I walked over to Marina Square to continue my shopping and stopped by a shop Earz because of the cd that they are playing in the shop. The voice of the singer called Olivia Ong, captivated me enough for me to walk into the shop, listen to all 3 of her albums and walked out of the shop with 2 of her albums, A Girl Meets Bossa Nova 2 and Fall In Love With. I didn't know that she is a Singaporean until I did a Google on her. Looks like she is going to be the next Singaporean who is going to be able to make it overseas. :)

I went to Causeway Point to continue my shopping and bought a pair of pants. I keep telling myself that I must stop shopping as I had been shopping too much for the past few months. I was shocked when I saw my credit card bill last month. :( If not for the fact that I need to buy new pair of pants, I would have given it a pass. At least that's what I say to convince myself. :P

I went for a jog after I got home from all my shopping. No choice... I had been putting on too much weight. So I need to do something to lose those weight (fats). :( I did not jog a lot as I had stopped jogging for a few months already so I don't want to push myself too hard. :P At least I jogged... :P

My colleague asked if I bought tried my luck at the 10 million Toto draw tonight and when I told me I have yet to buy because the quene is always so long, he dropped me off at a Singapore Pools near Queenstown MRT. Too bad my dream of winning it got dashed...

Trauma Center: Under the Knife

I am currently hooked on Trauma Center: Under the Knife on Nintendo DS Lite. I know I am a little slow lah... But I seldom play DS Lite mah... But I got stuck in Chapter 2... Grr.... Hope I can succeed in attaining the next level soon. :D

Work

Work has been pretty busy for me since the end of last year. I have yet to be able to really take a break. Let's hope the break will come soon because I can see the papers on my desk forming a small hill... Other than that, it has been so far so good... I am eagarly waiting for my pay increment to come because it has been postponed twice due to some new changes in policy... I hope there is no more changes this time.

Blogs...

I forgot who gave me the link to Everyday Sociology Blog, but I think it is a rather interesting read. Look up to this blog if you have the chance. It talks about many things in life that you don't notice.

The Magic of Photoshop

Guys, be careful if you fall for a girl / guy based on a picture. After all, the picture may be photoshopped. Photoshop is really a powerful tool if you know how to make use of it...

Year of the Rat for the Dogs...

I forgot where but I remember reading somewhere that Dogs will have many accidents and bruises in the Year of the Rat. How true... How true...

I manage to cut my face (somwhere near my eyebrow) with a screwdriver. Luckily, I don't think it will leave me with a scar. The wound has more or less heal already. I cut my thumb with the side of a PS beaker and cut another finger of mine with a metal piece from a cap. I had a bruise on my finger which till now I have no idea how I got it. The best part is, the Year of Rat had just begin for like 1 week? I wonder what else is in stall for me as the time goes by..

Hope I won't be so accident-prone anymore... Pray pray...
