Free ringtone???

I came across this while I was looking for a ringtone. I still don't understand why is this considered as FREE ringtone when one will be billed at S$9.98 weekly by signing up for the service. Did I miss something?

The trend is starting...

Wah... The trend of getting married is starting (amongst my friends who are around the same age as me) liao... I was informed by my good friend from my secondary school that she will be registering her marriage with her bf this September. Actually she intended to hold her wedding dinner next May but in the end her bf and her decided to save the money and just solemnise their marriage.

I can feel red bombs throwing towards my direction liao... Scarey...

Wah... I just hear a shocking news yesterday afternoon while I was chit chatting with my brother... My brother is going to ROM with his gf in July...! *thunder and lightning*

O my... Imagine how shocked I am... My brother sure acts fast... I knew he had plans to marry his gf this year but he acts abit too fast liao right? So far he already got everything ready. The date, the buffet reception after the ceremony and etc... and I only got to know the news yesterday... I wonder when will he tell me the news if I didn't tease him about when is he planning to propose to his gf...

Anyway I am glad to see him getting married... Time for him to give up his room to me... Muahahaha...

Studying

I have already decided to get myself enrolled in RMIT Degree in Business Management majoring in Marketing which starts this coming July. That is provided that I can get into the course lah cos hor... I have yet to send in my application even though the date due is on 30 April... Hee... I'm short of a passport size photo and I cant take it not with my pimple outbreak! I will need to think of a way out. Just in case my pimple do not heal in time for me to take the photo... Hee...

R&R

I think it feels great to be able to relax at home once in a while. I was home the whole Saturday afternoon and will not have gone out if Kelvin they all never asked me out... I was kinda lazy but yet I dun feel like staying home too. Maybe that's why I decided to join them when they asked me out... Maybe the offer is to tempting... Eat durians, movies followed by ktv...

We had the durians in Geylang... Quite nice wor... and it's cheap... $5 for one durian... After eating durian we went to 揾到食 to da bao their 叉烧包 which we smuggled inside cinema as our dinner... hee... We caught Nightmare Detective. The show is... ok... Not a die-die must watch kinda movie. So unless you have money to spare then you can forget about it I guess... :P

After movies we proceeded to a KTV in Chinatown... It's called Ten Dollars KTV because they only charge you $10++ per person. After adding all the other miscellaneous charges, we end up paying like $12 per person. That's considered real cheap for a Saturday night lor... They even serve everyone a bowl of shark fin soup each... But I don't really like their system for selecting the songs. Kinda hard to get used to. Still like KBox and Party World more but I guess it's those you get what you pay for kinda thing... Still it's not too bad... Nice room and all... I may go there again another time.... We shall see... :)

Ma Maison

I went to Ma Maison for dinner with my bf just now. This is not the first time we tried to go there for dinner. In fact, the first time we wanted to go there for dinner but failed, was due to the restaurant being full housed and we had to wait. In the end we had to go Billy Bombers for dinner. I am definitely glad that we decided to wait for a seat today instead of heading somewhere else for dinner again....

Interior of Ma Maison

Ma Maison has quite a cozy ambience. I quite like it... The decoration in the restaurant was kinda ang mo but they serves very nice japanese style food! We had Escargots with garlic butter, clam chowder soup, Tonkatsu curry rice, Japanese Curry Udon in Korean Stone Bowl and Brownie with ice cream...

Bring me along to pay for your bill....

O ya... Since Monday night's is their Ladies night, so we managed to get 20% off our bill... :D

Vinco Doughnuts

I still dun get it... Is the doughnuts really so nice that makes it worth while for people to quene for such a long time? I feel like trying them out to see if it really taste that great but I don't want to end up like an idiot queneing up for so long... After all I suspect that the doughnuts don't really taste that great. It's just the typical Singaporean mentality of "Long quene? The food must be good! Let's join the quene too!"

The long quene outside Vinco Doughtnuts in Vivocity

After note: I heard from my friend that he went and joined the Doughnut quene outside Doughnut Factory in Raffles City. He said the shop opened at 12.30 pm and it took him 4 hours to quene and bought 2 dozens of doughnuts even though he reached there at around 1 plus. There's even some auntie who offer people in front $50 to help them buy the doughnuts. He said the doughnuts are nice but he will never quene 4 hours for it again. It's just not worth the time... At least not to him...

Where Do You Want To Go Next?

I will love to explore Japan if I have the time and the money. As you all know, things in Japan is not cheap. Tranportation, food and lodgings will burn a big hole out of my pocket and that is not even counting the air fare there. Ok... Back to my topic of exploring Japan...

Staying in those Japanese traditional style inn is definitely a must. Where else other than these inns can you experience sleeping in futon (Japanese style beds) on tatami floors even though people who are not used to it will wake up with a back ache. Open air baths and hot springs are also must trys!

What is Japan without exploring its shopping scene? Shibuya and Harajuku is a die die must go place for those shopping enthusiast... Japanese are usually quite brand conscious so Gucci and LV usually have some exclusive designs that are only available in Japan. Even Burberry created a new label called Burberry Blue Label that is only sold in Japan. Teenagers can also be seen gathering in Harajuku on Sunday for cosplay. Akihabara is the place to go if one is looking for electronic items or the latest gadgets in town.

Cherry blossoms are very beautiful flowers that can be found in many parts in Japan. Every year people from all over the world will fly to Japan for Hanami (which means flower viewing). The blooming time of the cherry blossoms differs from year to year depending on the weather. It may bloom as early as January or as late as May.

Rebun Island is a longish island, about 10 km north of Rishiri Island and 50 km off the northern tip of Hokkaido. The scenery there is absolutely lovely... It is famous for its alphine flowers, some of which can only be found there. It is definitely a wonderful place to go for some hiking...

Beautiful scenery of Rebun Island

There are definitely other parts of Japan that I want to explore but I' m too lazy to go look out for them now... :P

Return of Dark Chocolate M&Ms...

M&Ms launched Dark Chocolate M&Ms sometime in 2005 as "Darth Mix" in promotion of the release of the final episode of Star Wars. The dark chocolate version was very yummy... In fact, I think it is more yummy when compared to the normal M&Ms as they are not as sweet.

Sad to say it was limited edition and so it was taken off shelf after sometime. For a period of time my sister and I will be checking out any supermarket or convenience store that we pass by to see if they are still selling the Dark Chocolate M&Ms. It took us sometime before we finally accept the fact that they were permanently "sold out" which to us was quite a stupid decision since we absolutely love them!

So imagine my delight when I saw Dark Chocolate M&Ms while I was "shopping" in West Mall Shop & Save! The first thing I did was to grab 3 packs, one for me, one for my friend and the other one for my sister. Looks like M&Ms are letting it stay permanently... :D
