I had decided to try out for the post of Marketing Coordinator in my company. I had submitted my resume to my HR on thursday and so in the meantime, all I have to do is to cross my fingers and pray hard that they will choose me over some external candidate...
One of my colleague whom I am closer to told me that actually she felt that that job is just 打杂one... I was like wah liao... She's so "encouraging" lor... In a way I have to agree with her but if I plan to go into marketing, I have to start somewhere right?
Another thing my other friends and colleagues are concern about is whether I will get a pay raise or cut if I get this job... Honestly, I did not think about it before. My idea is to wait and see if I get the job or not first. If I manage to secure the job, there's always room for discussion. Of course I definitely hope that I won't have a pay cut lah... Ai yah... See how lah... Will figure things out IF I really manage to get this job... :)
