Exams and work

My exams are coming next week and I have almost not study at all. So good right? I think burning my textbooks and drink them maybe a good idea... Wonder if it will really help me to absorb the stuff written inside. If it really does, I will definitely be game enough to try that method...

We were talking about "not touching enough wood" at work recently. Work load is usually rather manageable but after my colleague started taking her maternity leave, work load increased like 2 fold. Faint... Just at a time when I was praying that it will cut down so that I can go on my leave in peace. Damn... Now I can only try to clear whatever I can before I go on leave on Friday...

Wish me luck for my exams. I need ALL that I can get... :P

Happy 27th...

I just turned 27 today... This year, no celebration... Unless you count studying in McDonalds to be a celebration... I have too much to study and too little time before my exams come so no celebration... Whatever celebration will be belated... Till then...

Congrats to my Best Girlfriend...

My best girlfriend got married last Friday. I was in JB for her wedding since Thursday and only returned to Singapore on Sunday.

The wedding was quite nice. Glad that there were no major hiccups for the wedding... It was not as tiring as C's wedding last December as the customary and wedding dinner were held on two different days. We still had time to go for manicure and pedicure. Haha... I even brought my textbook over hoping to study there but I have to admit, I was too lazy to do that. :P

Results

I got back the results of two of my projects. One got a high distinction overall and the other one which was the one that made me so angry, got a credit. K and I were saying that it was lucky that we did some last minute changes to it or we might have flunk the project.

Exams is next week and I still have not study much yet. I better chiong for it liao...

Lovely Birthday Cake

My lovely classmate made me a very pretty birthday cake. I loved it! :D

Finally Over and Done with... and with lots of Anger...

I am finally over and done with all my projects.. . That came with a lot of sleepless nights to complete... In fact, I only reached home at 6am on Friday morning because I was out with K doing ALOT of last minute changes to our project in case we flunk our project...We almost changed our whole project lor...

I was really very fed up with F who was supposed to compile the project... Really very F*** lor... As we usually have discussions then spilt up the work to do, so one person will eventually have to compile the whole project. She is supposed to make sure that all the parts of the whole project tally with each other. To me, she did not do anything at all. F***

As K and I wanted to teach her a "lesson", we made a pact before F compiled the project that we WILL NOT make any changes about it. We want to let her know that her report is not as good as what she think it is. We were prepared to get a Credit or even a Pass for our project. As I was the one who is supposed to do the alignment of the project, it is inevitable that I will see the report. It got to a point that I realised that we had to do something about the report before we flunk the whole project... F did not do her job of tallying the whole report at all lor... In fact, I think basically she just copy and paste each part and send to me. It's damn obvious lor... Within the first 6 lines of our introduction, there's already repetition liao lor... Crap... We had a budget to "spend" for our project. Around $3.5million. In the end, we only spent $1.5million. What about the rest of the $2million? She didn't even realised it until I pointed it out to her. That one is the basic thing lor... Why didn't she take note of it? We are supposed to spend ALL of it lor... She still try to tell me that the $3.5million is for global and not only Singapore. So I pointed out to her that a few weeks ago I ALREADY told her that there is a report around saying that that company's global advertising and promotion is ard $25million a year. I don't know what is she thinking at all.

It's really time to sit her down and talk to her... This kind of thing cannot go on lor... It will kill K and I one of these days...

Left...

I talked about I will be facing some changes at work but did not go into any details. Anyway... my boss had decided to quit his job. This means the two managers that I was under, left the company within a span of 3 months... -_-'''' So now I am officially boss-less liao... As I don't have any boss anymore, I am now going to report directly to my technical director... Diao...

It's kind of sad that this boss of mine left. He's a really nice guy and quite a good boss too. Too bad he has to leave due to some circumstances... I will look forward to have a chance to work with him again in the future... Provided there's this kind of chance lah of course...

My company has yet to find the replacement for my boss... No matter what it is, I do hope my future new boss be a good one... After all, I always think that the boss is the most important part of the job...
