It's finally over~!

My event is finally over liao... Phew... Luckily all the things turn up quite well except for some nitty gritty things that we have no control over. Looks like everyone had great fun today. This is the first time I realised that people in my company can be so 'wild' when they are in party mood.

Other than having to call up a company on Monday to give them my 'feedback', I think everything else looks ok... Luckily this year's event will definitely not be organised by me... Phew... It's finally over~! \(^o^)/

Busy at work...

I am part of the organising committee for my company's 2006 Year End Event which will be held this friday. 2006 Year End Event in Frb 2007?! Weird rite? Bo bian leh... My MD is too busy travelling around but wished to join the event so we had to postpone the event again and again just to accomodate to his schedule. Since he's the one who pays or rather sort of... so we bo bian lor...

Our organising committee has been consientiously preparing for events but as everyone who organise this type of event before knows, there are always some last minute changes to the things that we had organised. Furthermore there are also some things that we left to the last minute so we are super busy as the day of the event draws nearer. Since the event is on Friday, thus we were rushing for things to be done on Thursday.

I was in a mad rush to get things done on Wednesday and Thursday. I had to help my manager to do some things as he will need them for his trip next week, complete my customer's requiest and it doesn't really help that I am attending a course for the whole of next week. This means I have to more or less tie up whatever things that are pending or hand over to my colleague to continue with what I was doing.

I was so busy that I stayed until quite late at work and had bagel for lunch at 3 plus today because I was leaving to prepare for the event on Friday then. By the time I ate, all the hunger pangs that I felt earlier on were gone.

Right now I am only praying that tomorrow will be here soon and that nothing will go wrong for the event. Let's hope everything will turn up well... Wish me luck... ;)

New shoes...

I realised that I tend to be able to find things for myself when I go shopping alone. Maybe because I can go to any shop that I like and not feel paiseh that the person may have to wait for me. Maybe that's why I end up buying 2 pairs of shoes when I was out shopping alone that day.

I am someone who seldom buys any shoes so it is kinda surprising when I bought 2 pairs of shoes at one go. My mum almost nag at me when she saw me coming home with so many pairs of shoes until I told her that I hardly buy any shoes at all unlike my sis. She stopped whatever she wanted to say after hearing it. (^o^)v

I wore one of the pair of shoes that I bought to work yesterday... For the first time in my life, a pair of shoes 'cut' my feet so much that I got at least 4 blisters on each foot... So painful... I hope my other pair of shoes wun torture me so much... Pray pray...

Yawn...

Poof... Just blew away all the cobwebs hanging around my blog... I know naughty me have not been updating it for quite sometime liao... :P

Been feeling quite tired for the past few weeks for no reason at all. Is it due to a lack of sleep? Dunno also leh... I thot I am getting the same amount of sleep as before. Maybe it's because I'm trying to get myself to wake up earlier the past few days as I'm trying to make myself reach office on time. Been late for too long liao... Time to 改邪归正 liao... Hee...

Dunno what's up with me nowadays... I seldom even come online anymore, and not to even mention update my blog or go on msn... These things which once used to be a major part of my life is like no longer important... In a way, I think I am happier lazing around in front of the tv... Maybe because I'm tired ba... or simply plain lazy... :P

Sometimes I just wonder how come some people have all the strength and 筋力 to update their blog so frequently... But I do have to admit that most probably because I am a 三分钟热度 kinda person... I just dun stay in one thing for long... Or rather there's seldom a thing that can make me stay focused on for long... See how lah... Maybe I will start to update my blog more often... :P Maybe it's time for me to find something to keep my interest again... :P

iPhone

Wah... Apple is coming out with a phone that they call iPhone! Funny name leh... How come all their products all got the i i i infront one huh? Think Apple start a trend with its ithingy and end up everyone starts calling their product isomething like that copycat OSIM, iDesire, iPamper....

Back to iPhone... The phone is supposed to of course enable you to call your sweetheart or whoever, have wifi, bluetooth, GPRS, camera and of cos music! Looks like quite a cool phone wor... I think it's the first touchscreen phone that makes me feel like buying...

Sad to say I doubt it will be cheap... They are launching it only in US now and the selling price is already $700 - $900+ liao... and it will come to Singapore only in 2008. Great... by that time my hp contract will be over and I can get a new phone! Pocket confirm burn very BIG hole... Waiting waiting... but hor... anyone knows if it has a radio???

Resolution for 2007

Sometimes I think it is rather sad leh... You can be great friends with someone or a bunch of people and you are out with them most of the time. However as time flies, things starts to change. Your friend may get a job that requires her to commit more time and so the 2 of you starts to meet or chat less and less. Or maybe you or your friend got hitched with someone and thus spends less time together. Before you know it, you starts to drift apart from your friends.

Doesn't this situation seems familiar to you? I know I am definitely one of them who is guilty of this one. I have some good friends whom I have drifted apart from after I got a bf. I also have some good friends who I drifted apart from when I started working cum schooling.

My resolution for 2007 shall be to try to keep in contact with the friends I have drifted apart from. No more too lazy to call them to chit chat kinda situation!

GoodBye 2006 Hello 2007

It's a new year again~! Time really flies wor... Before you know it, 2007 will come and go already.

I think 2006 has been a pretty normal year for me. Nothing much special has happened then except that I finished my advance diploma. I'm just thinking if I should go ahead and take up a degree cos I am afraid if I will "waste" it if I don't go into a related field.

Let's hope 2007 will be a better year for everyone especially myself since I fall sick on the ver 1st day of 2007. Let's hope for the best~! :)
